The High Point Cancer Center team is led by radiation oncologist Nalini Mehta, MD. Dr. Mehta treats all tumors and malignancies and has expertise in treating breast, gynecologic, and prostate cancers. She is highly experienced in modern technologies, including IMRT and brachytherapy.

Previously, Dr. Mehta served as chairman of the Department of Radiation Oncology and medical director for the Center for Cancer Care at Sacred Heart Hospital. She received her medical degree and completed her rotating internship in Bombay, India. Dr. Mehta completed her residency and fellowship training in radiation oncology at the Thomas Jefferson University and Temple University Hospitals in Philadelphia. She received her board certification from the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology/Therapeutic Radiology in 1986. Dr. Mehta is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology.
